Many Thanks

It was a fabulous Thanksgiving week full of family, food, parties, friends and more. My hubby had a few days off, which was SO nice for us to get to do some fun things together. Wed. we went to Dark Knight (I might be the only one on the planet that had not seen it yet) I did really really like it (but would not buy it...a lil' on the dark side for my home I think).
Thursday we went to BODYWORLDS in Salt Lake. If you have the opportunity to go- DO IT. I am grateful for the things I'm learning at UCMT. It's pretty cool to know every muscle in the body. Here are some fun facts I learned there:
THERE ARE MORE LIVING ORGANISMS ON YOUR SKIN THEN HUMANS ON THE PLANET.
THE CARDIO NETWORK OF AN AVERAGE ADULT WOULD WRAP AROUND THE EARTH MORE THEN TWO TIMES.
THE ARTERIES, VEINS AND CAPILARIES THAT CARRY THE BLOOD TO AND FROOM THE HEART IS MORE THEN 60 MILES LONG.
THE HEART IS THE ORGAN THAT IS FORMED FIRST AND STOPS WORKING LAST.
THE BRAIN IS ONLY 2% OF OUR WEIGHT BUT NEEDS 20% OF OUR BLOOD SUPPLY.
EVERY CIGERETTE SMOKED SHORTENS ONES LIFE BY A MINUTE.
3 YEARS AFTER YOU QUIT SMOKING, THE CHANCES OF YOU HAVING A HEART ATTACK IS THE SAME AS SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER SMOKED.
YOUR HEART PUMPS ROUGHLY 1800 GALLONS OF BLOOD A DAY.
"All the knowledge I possess everyone else can aquire, but my heart is exclusively my own"-Johann Wolfgang von Goeth- German Poet
"The heart is the place where I can meet God. He who follows his heart, follows God."- Ole Martin Hoystad- Norweigan Professor

Friday I braved the Walmart crowds at 4:30 am (and got everything I went there for) :) but I was not there for Toys or Electronics- so that always helps your odds. Friday I surprised James and we went to Tucanos w/ our friends the Gordons and that night went to their home to play games. Taylor and Carter watched a movie.

Earlier that day we met my friend Kendra and her sweet family at Thanksgiving Point for some Ice Cream. Taylor and Parker were best buds right away. It's ALWAYS good to see old friends, I miss being close to Idaho sometimes. Thanks Ken for calling us so we could meet up. Love u guys

We are thankful for our dear friends, our family that is close and far, our good health, our adorable son, our home and our Savior.
