Ok so ....it's not even WINTER and we are feeling "COOPED UP" because of the cold cold weather. So... to any of you that have spent a winter inside w/ a two year old.... I know you feel my pain. ANY FUN IDEAS of how to keep us from going NUTSO! We need fresh air, but it's freezing outside...so many just some fun things to go see or do. IDEAS??? IDEAS??

that is so funny that you asked that because just today I went to this website called Savvysource.com to find out the same thing. They have fun ideas for what to do with toddlers. I found a lot of things. It was really helpful.

there are a few good websites with ideas, like kiddley.com, skiptomylou.org, toddlertoddler.com, and playactivities.com(?not sure on the address for that one). Also, you can go to the play area at the mall, go to McD's (I just order a soda & let the kids play), or check out local museums. I don't know about the one there, but the children's museum here in Phoenix is fantastic.

Some things my kids liked to do inside...
*build a playhouse out of boxes or blankets thrown over the table, *set up an 'obstacle course' involving jumping over things, crawling under things, etc.
*I don't know if he's old enough, but my kids love to take pics with the camera on my phone
*set up a little 'zoo' using his animal toys, then take a tour of your zoo. You can even 'drive there' sitting on the couch.

By the way..all these ideas are not my own original ideas. I just gleaned them from websites, books, other people, etc. Good luck! Hope you're feeling less cooped up!

I have a REALLY great idea!

1ST-Come to my house and let Taylor play with all of Kortland's new and different toys while Kortland acts as a surrogate big brother.

2ND- Sit on my couch, look over some Veranda, House Beautiful, and old Martha Stewart Living magazines while shooting the breeze with me - and wait for a batch of freshly assembled cookies to bake in my oven...

and 3RD... well actually that's all. Eat and repeat! (and come again soon...or we can do your house...no need for YOU to do all the driving!)

We visited McDonald's a lot. The dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving point.
