We made it to Cali. all in one piece. James arrived Sunday night and Taylor and I flew in Monday night. The flight went Awesome. We had our bag of tricks ready : Toys, DVD player w/ Cars, Fruit Snacks, Juice, Aunt Amanda :)....so it was great. Our car seat didn't make it (It went to Long Beach, we were in San Fran) But they had a loaner so we were able to go home that night. Our place here in Pleasanton is great. They are older apartments but SO NICE. We are in a townhouse and it's huge w/ beautiful vaulted ceiling and even a sky light in the master bedroom. How romantic, huh. We have a fireplace and walkout balconies in every room. I've spent my mornings doing walk throughs with the resident manager and today have spent most the day walking around with Taylor (he likes the speed bumps) .... we need to find a park :) I'm anxious to get to know the ward and get involved that way. Plus when I've recovered from Pre-season preparing and unpacking here, we will venture out to the sites. One Funny thing is that Pinnacle (one of our competitors) is in our apartment complex as well. I went and knocked on their office door this afternoon and introduced myself to their office manager. Doesn't hurt to be friendly right? Well....it was a lil' awkward to say the least. O-well I tried. I will try again if the opportunity presents itself.

Fun! Glad you guys made it safely! That is awkward with Pinnacle! haha! Maybe you will meet some of the wives andyou can all become friends! Good luck this summer, keep us updated!
