On the way to my 2 week appointment w/ Stefen the van started acting funny and I knew something was wrong so I put on my blinker (on freeway) and was trying to make my way to the far right, I got over one lane when I Really had no control and could feel it... LUCKILY I had just enough time/control to get into the median and out of main lanes of traffice. The scary thing was that we were in the MIDDLE of two MAJOR highways crossing. 410 and I10. I instantly called James to come rescue us, then called 911 to get a police officer there and then our insurance to get a tow truck there. I was praying and so scared to be in the van with my precious little baby on this scary freeway as I could see traffic flying behind me and even cutting into my area to "make their exit" James came and picked us up and all was well. A very scary moment in my life.

I think I was still frazzled and when we got in the van after getting it from the tow truck I went to drive and almost hit a guy behind me. We literally were in a HUGE HUGE EMPTY parking lot and some guy WALKING just decided to walk right behind me. Then there was this trailer in the same parking lot that that happened.... James and I had to laugh.

When my dad came to visit he brought me the newspaper articles from when Ali was in a lil' prince contest and when I won a charity event. Fun to see those old articles.

Layla came in one day and said "mommy you feed your baby Stefen and I'll feed my baby Cinderella"I said ok and she looked at me and started to lift her shirt. It caught me off gaurd and I said "Layla you can feed your baby with a bottle" and then instantly I realized that was wrong, I could teach my daughter that 'nursing' IS the NORMAL way to feed a baby and she recognized that. I quickly said "you can feed your baby however you want sweet girl" and so she did, nursing cover and all this time.

It was SUCH A TREAT to be in Vegas with the Campbells to visit our Dear Browns. We love them so much. Can you believe this cotton candy was ON THE MENU as a dessert. Seriously RAD, I LOVE that Monica LAUGHED OUT LOUD when it came to our table.
