July/Aug fun....and lots of fun we've had

We live in Thee best neighborhood with the best neighbors. One night the kids were all Slip N Sliddin' and we heard the ICE CREAM TRUCK. First time ever in this area and they hit the jackpot. It was fun and Q was so sweet to share his shrek ice cream w. lou lou. We all had a pretty good laugh at my sweet neighbor Renee too, diggin' in to her purse to buy from the ice cream truck, while holding a fancy glass of wine.

Every Wed. we have been hitting the pool w/ our sweetest friends. Layla has learned from Ethan how fun the pool can be. LOTS OF FUN

Gma and Gpa bought the kids a bubble gun and Sunday when we were making lunch the kids snuck off and made a HUGE MESS OF BUBBLES all over the entry floor and futon. Messy fun.

Gma and Gpa bought Taylor a new Lava lamp w/ SEA LIFE in it, SO COOL

and bought Layla some foam blocks that we have had a lot of fun building castles with (do you love how Layla is in the background playing the ipad instead of her new toy)

One weekend we headed up to Austin to see our dear friends John and Krista Clark and were surprised to find out our dear friends Cory and Calene Green were there too...we all had a great time going to the pool and eating at an amazing burger place called Hop Doddy in Austin. Also saw the thousands of bats flying out from the bridge.

For our bday dinners James and I finally hit up the MELTING POT. We did love it, lots of fun and DeliSH. For James I got him a Mens SPA day :) and bought him 3rd row tickets to the FIGHT at the Alamo Dome.
