It's TIME to celebrate LAYLA

Layla is ONE. We had a wonderful open house birthday party for her that was lots of fun with a few friends and family. The theme was Hot pink, green and blue. I made tissue flower balls that hung from the fans and lights and we had lots of yummy finger foods-all which Layla could eat as well as the guests. Her cake was made by my friend Bekah and Liz and I made the cupcakes, which were so sweet. Thanks everyone that made this day SPECIAL.

Layla was excited to open presents and to DIG IN to her cake, literally double fisted it at one point!

Layla: has 6 teeth, is a super fast crawler, is walking really well along furniture and will take her first step any day we are sure, loves her brother more than anything in the world and that includes HIS COOL TOYS, Gets happy to have lots of kids around that she can play with (older), is a MAMA's girl thru and thru. If I am gone for a while and then walk back in the house, without FAIL she CRIES (like...oh yeah I forgot you were gone and I'm SO SAD), Is a natural girl-gets a baby and hugs it like a good mama, HUMS to fall asleep and when she snuggles, gives kisses, says mama, dad, WHOA, is 29 1/4 inches which is 55% for Height and 19.13 lbs. which is 35% for weight and 18 3/4 inches for her head, which is 95%, has always been a bottle snob (Hates em), is a great nurser, Always puts her finger in her binky while sucking it (it's super cute), is a HORRIBLE napper- makes mommy ROCK her to sleep, Loves to dance already, is a big fan of big girl food, has to be Distracted to eat baby food, LOVES TECHNOLOGY, thinks dogs are cool, is sassy, and loves to play chase "I'm gonna get you"
