Have you ever heard of this place? It is in San Jose. If you ever go, you must stop here...it was very interesting. The lady that owned this home was married to the guy that started Winchester rifles. well they lost their daughter and then her husband died. She did not know why she had been dealt such bad luck. she went to a fortune teller who told her to move out west, buy an unfinished home and continue building everyday. Well she did and construction went on and on 24 hrs a day for 38 YEARS. This house is CRAZY. It's huge and it's NUTS. Staircases that lead to ceilings, doors that open up to brick walls.... WIERD. And she was OBSESSED w/ the number 13 so windows would have 13 panes, her name has 13 letters in it and on and on w/ wierd facts. Daisy's were her favorite flower and a perfect one has 13 petals. It took 20,000 gallons of paint to do the home and there are 10,000 WINDOWS , that is 4,000 MORE then the EMPIRE STATE BUILDING. Anyways...this place was cool. (Ps . she had lots of money because when her husband and mother in law died she recieved 2 MILLION $ cash from each of them and recieved $1000 a day until the day she died. )
